A cookie or tracker is a small file placed on your device. Some are necessary for the site to work; the others are placed only with your agreement, which you can change at any time.
Necessary trackers (no consent required)
- crh_consent – remembers your cookie choices – 6 months.
- crh_sim_v1 (session storage) – keeps your simulator answers during your visit, on your device only – deleted when the tab is closed or after sending.
- WordPress login cookies – only for team members logged in to the administration.
Cookieless audience measurement (no consent required)
The site measures its traffic with an in-house tool, hosted by our hosting provider IONOS, which sets no cookie and reads no information from your device. It records the page viewed, where the visit comes from (search engine, social network, campaign link…), the type of device, operating system and browser, screen width, browser language, and the time spent and share of the page scrolled. Your IP address is never recorded: a visitor is only recognised for the day, through a fingerprint calculated with a key that is renewed every day and then destroyed. This data is used solely to produce statistics to improve the site; it is not combined with other data or passed to third parties, and is kept for 13 months. In line with the recommendations of the French data protection authority (CNIL), this measurement does not require your consent; you may nevertheless object to it by writing to us.
Audience measurement (with consent)
- Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_BKJS4DKR0J) – detailed visitor statistics, provided by Google Ireland Limited – 13 months maximum. Google’s script is only loaded after you agree to audience measurement.
Histats visit counter (with “audience measurement” and “advertising” consent)
The counter shown at the bottom of pages is provided by the Histats.com service (Wisecode SRL, Italy). It sets cookies on your device (HstCfa, HstCla, HstCmu, HstPn, HstPt, HstCnv, HstCns, followed by the site number) to count visits and visitors, and sends Histats the address of the page viewed, where the visit came from and technical information about your browser. Because Histats may exchange data with advertising partners, its script is only loaded if you accept both audience measurement and advertising; otherwise the counter is not displayed. Advertising (with consent)
Apart from the Histats counter described above, no advertising tracker is used at present. If we run campaigns, the corresponding trackers (for example Google Ads, _gcl_au, 90 days) will only be set with your consent, and this page will be updated.
Until you accept, none of these trackers is placed and the corresponding tools are not loaded. If you accept, the source of your visit (campaign parameters) is also kept during the session to be linked to any request you make.
